Minimum Qualifications
Engineering Associate A: - Graduation with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Engineering or in a field related to the job.
- Experience may substitute for education up to four (4) years.
Licenses and Certifications Required: None.
Engineering Associate B: - Graduation with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Engineering or in a field related to the job, plus two (2) years related experience.
- Experience may be substituted for education up to a maximum of four (4) years.
Licenses and Certifications Required:None.
Engineering Associate C: - Graduation with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in a field related to engineering, plus four (4) years of experience in a field related to the job, one (1) year in a lead capacity.
- Experience may substitute for education up to four (4) years

Notes to Applicants
The Engineering Associate A, B, or C will work with a Professional Engineer to assist with traffic engineering investigations and customer service requests in the Transportation Engineering Division, Transportation and Public Works Department. The preferred candidate should demonstrate knowledge in traffic engineering fundamentals, skill in oral and written communication, and ability to make decisions in conformance with established practices and to work with the general public.
Note: This is not an engineering track position
Salary Range
Engineering Associate A: $27.41 - $33.30
Engineering Associate B: $29.23 - $36.54
Engineering Associate C: $32.23 - $40.29
