Position Description
A non-recurring job having an appointment for less than four and one-half months with a nature of work consistent with that found in an office or administrative environment.

Major/Essential Functions

• Answer incoming patient calls promptly and professionally, providing exceptional customer service.
• Assess patient needs, schedule appointments, document messages accurately, and route calls to the appropriate departments.
• Create and maintain accurate patient charts, updating demographic and insurance information as needed.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
• Verify insurance eligibility through third-party websites and company systems.
• Coordinate appointment scheduling and communicate effectively with front-desk staff and clinical teams to support efficient patient flow.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations, privacy standards, and company policies when handling sensitive patient information.
• Follow call center guidelines, performance metrics, policies, and procedures while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Required Qualifications

• Due to the broad nature of work found in this job, minimum qualifications will be consistent with level and nature of work performed as determined by the hiring manager.
• High school diploma or equivalent
