Duties

Monitor multi-panel intrusion detection, security alarm, and surveillance systems covering arms, ammunition, and explosives storage areas.

Investigate traffic accidents, crimes against persons/property (theft, assault, sabotage, domestic disputes), and breaches of Mission Essential Vulnerable Areas.

Apprehend, subdue, detain, and process violators; advise suspects of legal rights; testify in federal, state, or magistrate court.

Operate the emergency communications and dispatch console; receive emergency (911) and routine calls.

Dispatch patrols and coordinate response efforts with fire, medical, and external law enforcement units.

Operate the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) terminal and perform background checks for base access and warrant verifications.
