Part-time Security Officer

Summary

Per Mar Security Services is looking for a part-time security officer position in Iowa City, Iowa. Shift's are Thursday/Friday/Saturday 10:00 pm - 5:00 am. 21 hours-per-week at $18.50 per hr.

Qualifications:

• 18 years old or older.
• pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen.
• ability to obtain an Iowa security license, with no disqualifying criminal convictions. We will assist those that qualify.
• ability to perform the physical nature of the position, including standing and walking for extended periods.
• good communication skills.

Job Duties:

• Conduct security rounds of client's property.
• Communicate and interact with tenants and staff.
• Respond to requests for service from tenants and staff.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while on duty.
• Request assistance for emergency services when necessary.

Notice: Candidates will be required to travel to our Cedar Rapids office to complete orientation and/or training.
