Hockey League Coordinator

Job Description

Assists in the planning, organizing, coordinating, and promoting hockey leagues of all ages. Assists in the planning, organizing, and directing of classes in figure skating and promoting clinics for instructional skating. Acts as scorer or timer of hockey games conducted at the rink. Enforces rules and procedures providing for the safety of public skating rink patrons. Preserves order among patrons and protects property during skating sessions. Assists in maintaining the condition of ice surfaces by operation of scraping and related equipment. Assists in keeping rink and related structures in clean and orderly conditions. Performs related work as required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Considerable experience in skating and in assisting in organizing and promoting hockey leagues and skating instruction.
