Summary

Job role: Site Safety Officer

Duration: Contract through most of 2027 (Potential Temp-to-Hire)

Location: Vineland, NJ (100% Onsite)

Schedule: Day Shift

Required Experience:

• 3-5+ years of field safety experience
• Strong construction safety background
• Previous Data Center construction experience is REQUIRED
• Experience supporting infrastructure, telecommunications, electrical, or mission-critical construction projects
• Strong knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 & 1910
• Familiarity with ANSI, NFPA 70E, and ASTM safety standards
• Experience conducting:
• Site safety orientations
• Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs)
• Pre-Task Plans (PTPs)
• Safety audits and inspections
• Incident investigations and root cause analysis

• Toolbox talks and safety training
• Experience enforcing PPE, fall protection, lockout/tagout, confined space, and other critical safety procedures
• Strong documentation and reporting skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities

Certifications:

• OSHA 30-Hour Construction (required or willing to obtain before hire)
• OSHA 500, OSHA 510, or STSC (required or willing to obtain before hire)
• Current First Aid / CPR / AED Certification
• CHST or other BCSP certification is a plus
