Summary
Description We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Family Support Navigator to support families involved with Oneida County Family Treatment Court. A dedicated and empathetic Family Support Navigators (FSNs) to support families and individuals affected by addiction. In this role, you will help families understand the progression of addiction, navigate insurance and treatment systems, and prepare for a loved one's return home from treatment. FSNs provide critical guidance and emotional support throughout the recovery process, empowering families to build resilience and stability. By fostering understanding, reducing stigma, and promoting effective communication, you will help families rebuild trust and create a supportive environment for long-term recovery.Requirements Bachelor's degree in human services or related field, minimum 5 years' work experience, CASAC certification preferred.Demonstrated ability in public relations, public speaking, program development and organization.Working knowledge of substance use disorders and treatment, recovery and resources, as well as human behavior, socio-economic problems and development, and knowledge of the progression of addiction and the impact it has on families is required.Current and valid NYS driver licenseCommunity Reinforcement and Family Training (C.R.A.F.T) certification preferred.#J-18808-Ljbffr
