Summary
Strategic Sourcing AdvisorHouston, TX | Onsite | 12+ Month Contract
iSphere is looking for a Strategic Sourcing Advisor who knows recruiting is more than posting a job and waiting for resumes to appear. This person will partner with business leaders, HR, and hiring teams to build smart recruiting strategies, find difficult-to-reach talent, and keep high-impact searches moving from intake through offer.
This role will support management, professional, executive, senior-level, and other hard-to-fill positions across the organization. You will work closely with hiring leaders to understand what they actually need, shape realistic candidate profiles, build sourcing strategies, and provide useful market intelligence when the perfect candidate apparently does not live within 10 miles and want exactly what the hiring manager budgeted.
You will manage full-cycle recruiting activities, including sourcing, pipeline development, screening, interviewing, assessment, selection, and offer coordination. You will also support executive searches, workforce planning, recruiting campaigns, employer branding efforts, career events, and specialized hiring needs involving relocation, sponsorship, agencies, and external partners.
This person will be expected to bring more than recruiting activity reports to the table. You will analyze talent and labor market data, identify hiring trends, improve recruiting processes, and help leadership make better decisions about candidate availability, compensation, search strategy, and workforce needs.
What we need:
- 3+ years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or related HR experience
- Strong full-cycle recruiting experience for professional, management, senior-level, executive, or highly specialized positions
- Advanced experience with ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, CRM tools, Boolean search, and recruiting technology
- Experience developing sourcing strategies and building candidate pipelines for difficult-to-fill roles
- Strong interviewing, candidate assessment, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to partner confidently with hiring managers, HR leaders, executives, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Experience managing multiple searches, priorities, deadlines, and candidate relationships at the same time
- Ability to analyze recruiting data and market information and turn it into practical recommendations
A bachelor's degree is preferred. Experience with executive recruiting, workforce planning, employer branding, recruitment marketing, relocation, visa sponsorship, global mobility, candidate assessment frameworks, or AI-enabled recruiting tools will definitely get our attention.
You will also help draft and improve job descriptions, support onboarding activities, maintain recruiting documentation, evaluate new tools, and identify ways to make the recruiting process faster, more consistent, and less painful for everyone involved.
The person who does well here will be comfortable challenging assumptions, explaining what the market is actually showing, and keeping both candidates and hiring teams informed. They know how to build trust, manage expectations, and keep a search moving without confusing constant activity with actual progress.
