Make a difference.Pay Rate: $23.31-$38.39 hourlyJob Description Patrols all areas of the FMC main campus, off-site locations in and outside of the city.Ability to use, maintain, carry, and shoot firearms including: pistols, shotguns, rifles, and automatic weapons to the department standards.Responds to radio dispatched, citizen reported or directly observed calls for police action.Conduct preliminary investigations of crimes, accidents, and suspicious or dangerous incidents.Responds to the scenes of accidents, emergencies and disasters and remove people from dangerous situations.Makes arrests and takes persons into custody.Inspect, maintain and drive motor vehicles.Appear and testify at trials and hearings.Complete forms, records and compose reports.QualificationsJob Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent.An associates degree in Police Science or Criminal Justice preferred.Successful completion of the State of Ohio required police training program and State Certification examination required.One year of police experience preferred.Valid State of Ohio Drivers License.Exerting up to 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10-25 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible up to 10 pounds amount of force often.#J-18808-Ljbffr
