Summary
Procurement Coordinator
Location: District Office - Procurement Department Hours/Day: 8 hours/day Days/Week: 5 days/week Months/Year: 12 months/year Under the direction of the Procurement & Contracts Supervisor, coordinates, manages, and conducts the sourcing, bidding and contracting processes for goods and services, including construction and public work projects; reviews and monitors District purchases to ensure compliance with applicable laws, codes, and policies; establishes and maintains positive supplier relationships.
Education: Bachelor degree from accredited institution with major in business administration, public administration, finance, operations management or a closely related field. Experience: Five (5) years of recent full-time, progressively responsible, experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or contract management. Supervisory experience and experience in the areas of construction services, public work bids/contracts and/or maintenance and operations bid process is highly desirable.
