Business Advisor - Military Affairs

Summary

Identify opportunities and provide guidance on procedure and process improvements to influence business optimizationCollaborate with enterprise partners to develop business rules, requirements, and artifacts for business projects, processes, and initiativesDefine acceptance criteria and requirements, provide artifacts, obtain approvals, and document business decisionsCoordinate with stakeholders and program/project sponsors to support successful product and initiative implementationCoordinate training, communications, job aids, and related activities for new processes, procedures, and product changesConduct periodic testing against key controls and take necessary actions to address issuesAssist with developing and executing operational reportingAssist in collecting and documenting business decisions according to enterprise record retention standardsIdentify, measure, monitor, and control risks associated with business activities in accordance with risk and compliance policies and proceduresServe as liaison between Military Affairs, field representatives, and Association partnersPlan and execute large-scale events, including logistics, vendor partnerships, budgets, and on-site coordinationEnsure appropriate staffing and utilization of Member Engagement TeamsRequirementsBachelor's degree; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience4 years of project management, process consulting, or business optimization planning experienceProficient knowledge of industry technology applications such as Salesforce, SharePoint, Portal, CRM, or other industry related applicationsDemonstrated experience in developing communications and delivering key information effectively to stakeholders and all levels of management to influence decisions centered around business optimizationProficient knowledge of Microsoft Office toolsUS military experience gained through military service or as a military spouse/domestic partnerAdvanced degree in MarketingFamiliarity with military marketing and on-base MWR agreementsMust not require immigration support or visa sponsorship now or in the futureCore CompetenciesDemonstrates expertise in project management and process optimization, with a strong ability to develop business rules and requirements while effectively communicating with stakeholders.
