The Correctional Officer provides safe and secure care and custody for inmates committed to the Eau Claire County Jail. This position supervises inmates in their assigned duties, prevents escapes, and maintains discipline in conformance with strict rules, regulations, and standard operating procedures.High school diploma or equivalent.Citizen of the United States.Appointment will be conditional upon successful completion of a criminal background check resulting in no felony convictions in any jurisdiction unless the judgment or conviction has been reversed or a complete pardon has been granted.Fingerprinting will be kept on file fo#J-18808-Ljbffr
