Summary
Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Officer
Location: Bensenville, IL Schedule: Saturday 2pm-10pm/Sunday 2pm-10pm/Wednesday 10pm-6am/Thursday 10pm-6am Pay: $18/hour
Requirements
- Valid Illinois PERC license
- 20-hour security training certificate
- Valid driver's license and acceptable MVR
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years of age
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background and drug screening
- Strong communication, customer service, and report-writing skills
- Security, law enforcement, military, or customer service experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct foot, vehicle, golf cart, and/or bicycle patrols
- Monitor and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and emergencies
- Enforce site rules, post orders, and company procedures
- Write accurate incident and daily activity reports
- Respond to incidents and notify appropriate personnel
- Perform site-specific duties such as reception, loss prevention, loading dock, or elevator security
- Provide professional customer service and de-escalate situations
- Complete required training and maintain all licenses and certifications
HS Diploma GED or H.S. Equivalent
IL PERC Card Driver's License
