Please note: This extra help assignment is anticipated to last approximately six (6) months but may end earlier or be extended, up to a maximum of twelve (12) months, based on the operational needs of the department. This is a non-benefited position, and salary will vary based on candidate experience. Extra-Help employees may not exceed 960 hours worked in a fiscal year or 28 hours per week. What's this Job All About? As an Account Clerk I/II, you’ll support the Behavioral Health Department by performing a variety of clerical accounting and bookkeeping duties, including maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and other related functions. Additional responsibilities include assisting with a variety of department and program support activities.

COME WORK FOR THE COUNTY OF COLUSA: WE’RE WAITING FOR YOU! Supervision & Examples of Duties Account Clerk I - Receives immediate supervision from supervisory or management staff.
Account Clerk II - Receives general supervision from supervisory or management staff.
Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE : Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be: Experience Account Clerk I: One year of general clerical experience is desirable.
Account Clerk II: One year of responsible clerical bookkeeping or accounting experience.
All Levels Training: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade supplemented by courses in bookkeeping, accounting or a related field.
