Position Description The Programmer Analyst II's role is to develop, test, analyze, and maintain software applications in support of business requirements. This includes writing, coding, testing, and analyzing software programs and applications. The Programmer Analyst II will also research, design, document, and modify software specifications throughout the production life cycle.
Major/Essential Functions - Develop, implement, and maintain API services to enable seamless data exchange across systems and platforms.
- Generate, test, enhance and maintain web-based applications, user interfaces, and interactive features.
- Design database schemas, tables, and relationships to support the organization's data needs.
- Write SQL queries to retrieve, update, and manipulate data efficiently.
- Create and maintain Power BI reports to derive actionable insights from complex datasets, identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.
- Maintain up-to-date technical documentation for processes, workflows, and best practices across API development, Web development, data management, and business intelligence analysis.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders, including business users, team members, and management
- Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues related to various web applications, LMS, data processing, and reporting.
- Remain informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in API development, web development, database management, and business intelligence.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree with coursework in computer science, MIS, IT, or other related area plus one (1) year related full-time paid experience OR a combination of related education and/or experience to equal five (5) years.
