Position Summary:Manage and coordinate day-to-day operations of the medical office, including appointment scheduling, patient registration, medical records management, and facility maintenance, to ensure efficient and seamless service delivery.
Job RequirementEducation/Experience:
Equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a closely related field, and three (3) years of experience in managing a medical office, personnel management, and/or supervising a department.
Licensing/Certification Requirements:
None.
Additional Position Requirements- Previous experience in family practice

- Bilingual Spanish/Englished preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Physical RequirementsKnowledge of:Office theories and principles; medical terminology; principles and practices of employee supervision; admitting policies and procedures; insurance plans and requirements; cash handling practices, policies, and procedures; basic coding principles; department and hospital safety practice and procedures; patient rights; age specific patient care practices; infection control policies and practices; handling, storage, use and disposal of hazardous materials; department and hospital emergency response policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:Mobility to work in a typical clinical setting, including stamina to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time, strength to examine and treat varied individuals, vision to use standard office equipment and read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms. Strength and agility to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force.
