• Nelson Denny Reading Comprehensive Test
• Background investigation including a credit check

STARTING HOURLY: $22.68 - $26.71

Duties and Responsibilities

In this position, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the security and integrity of our criminal justice information systems. Your responsibilities will include:

• Helping to ensure compliance with all SLED/CJICS/NCIC policies related to the Criminal Justice Information and Communication System.
• Auditing and validating data entered into the NCIC system.
• Contributing to the training and development of personnel accessing NCIC resources.
• Assisting with the maintenance of equipment and software used to access the FBI/NCIC network.
• Supporting the flow of vital information within the law enforcement network.
• Performing administrative tasks to keep our operations running smoothly.

• Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft 365.

Minimum Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid South Carolina Driver's License (or ability to obtain one)
• Commitment to obtaining NCIC 40-hour certification within 6 months
• Willingness to pursue SLED NCIC Instructor certification within 1 year
• Honorably discharged from the military (if applicable).
• Have no pending cases or criminal felony convictions (misdemeanors may require expungement).
• No THC or Marijuana use within 365 days; some drugs are automatic disqualifiers.
• No student loans in default status.
