Pay: $5,173-$7,759/month
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

What you'll do
- Develop project proposals and execution plans by defining objectives, work plans, timelines, funding limits, staffing needs, and project phases to ensure projects are delivered effectively
- Manage projects from planning through completion by coordinating internal teams, external consultants, and interdepartmental partners to keep work aligned and on schedule
- Maintain strong internal and external relationships to support collaboration, stakeholder satisfaction, and successful project outcomes
- Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate issues as needed to protect timelines, budgets, and quality
- Support procurement and contract activities by assisting with solicitation, evaluation, awarding, and administration of contracts
- Track and manage project resources responsibly, ensuring accountability for time, funding, and staffing

- Risks are identified early and addressed before impacting outcomes

Qualifications
REQUIRES an accredited Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, project management, construction management, engineering technology, construction engineering technology, engineering, city planning, landscape architecture, or architecture and 4 years professional experience in project management or project management related work. OR an accredited Master's degree in business administration, public administration, project management, construction management, engineering technology, construction engineering technology, engineering, city planning, landscape architecture, or architecture and 2 years professional experience in project management or project management related work. OR a certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and 4 years as a PMP working in project management or project management related work. May be required to pass a preemployment drug screen. May be required to possess a valid State -issued drivers license in accordance with the City of KCMO policies.

If appointed, non-residents must obtain residency inside Kansas City, Missouri's city limits within nine months.
