Pay: $5,794-$8,833 per month
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

What you'll do
- Support credentialing and privileging processes by scheduling exams, maintaining records, and verifying licensure for EMS providers, interns, physicians, and special event certifications
- Assist with EMS quality improvement by reviewing cardiac arrest data, tracking patient outcomes for time-critical diagnoses, and entering information into required databases such as CARES
- Serve as a liaison between the Office of the Medical Director, KCFD, and local hospitals to support coordinated medical oversight and communication
- Assist with training and education efforts by administering tests, supporting in-service programs, and preparing educational and presentation materials
- Support daily administrative operations, including scheduling meetings, data entry, report preparation, and maintaining EMS protocols and reference materials

What you'll bring
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for documentation, data tracking, and presentations
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions with minimal supervision
- Experience working in a team environment and communicating professionally with diverse stakeholders
- Working knowledge of EMS protocols, dispatch procedures, and Missouri EMS statutes or the ability to learn quickly
Qualifications
REQUIRES high school diploma, current paramedic or nursing license with two years field and/or clinical experience. Preference given to the National Registry of EMT-P and current Missouri Paramedic License.

The minimum education requirement for positions that allow for experience equivalency for an accredited degree is a high school diploma. If appointed, non-residents must obtain residency inside Kansas City, Missouri's city limits within nine months.
