Position DescriptionWelcome to the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Amarillo, a comprehensive component of TTUHSC and Texas Tech Physicians. The mission of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is to improve the health of women through all our activities.
Major/Essential Functions- Providing the highest quality of education to our residents, medical students, faculty, private physicians, other healthcare providers, and the community.
- Delivering the highest quality care and services for women throughout their life cycle.
- Health maintenance for women of all ages.
- Consultative care to women with infertility and endocrinologic disorders, complications of pregnancy, gynecologic problems, urinary incontinence and pelvic prolapse, genetic questions and disorders; and providing diagnostic ultrasound services as well as comprehensive care for women with gynecologic cancers.
- Conducting research regarding the health of women to advance knowledge and translate our findings into new programs for women.
Occasional Duties
Required Qualifications- MD, DO or MBBS;
- Completion of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) Step 3; and
- Board certified, board eligible or in the process of becoming board eligible in OB/GYN.
